The Dream.... Sort Of

We take a break from the AirJaycoDreaming to sail on another's Dream.... Disney's.  We managed to completely surprise our children.  They literally didn't know until we pulled up and started pulling the luggage out of the trailer.

After a painless checkin they called our boarding group #18.

Captain Mickey Plaque

The Chandelier in the Atrium

Party Deck Time.  There is the famous Aqua Duck Water Coaster which is found on both the Dream and the Fantasy.

Random Picture of the different club names

Say goodbye to your kids if they discover the Oceaneer's Club & Lab-

 Aqua Duck raft-

Sailing Party Time -

Yes folks, those are duck legs sticking out of the funnel.  It appears Donald had an accident on the Aqua Duck.....

Sandy is already messing with Florida...

The place from which we watched the Fantasy, the Dream, and several other cruise ships depart from Port Canaveral....

Towel Origami.  I know it's a swan but it makes me think of a cobra.....

Our first dinner restaurant was the Animator's Palace... I wish I could say the food was good but thanks to Sandy, I don't remember much about the meal.  However, it was the first meal that I didn't make it to desert but it would not be the last......

Napkin Origami?

Disney Princess Meet and Greet...

I don't know if the picture really does it justice but the water is really really choppy....
Possibly the worst hamburger I have ever tried to eat..... tip, don't do the fast food.  Go to the restaurants.

Hmm.... no water going through the water roller coaster....

No kids sliding down the slide -

But there is Captain Hook -
This is what the atrium looks like when you have to move the Halloween party down from the party deck..

Dude stole my sun glasses ... but I got them back.
Can you see the waves in the pool?
 More water pics....

The pirate party fireworks had to moved back a night but they did manage to get in a small show on our last night at sea.
Last towel Oragami of the cruise and the departing instructions minus the Customs Form.  Apparently if you don't make a single port you don't have to deal with Customs.... now you know.

Our head server made the kids oragami frogs that actually jump when you push down on it's arse....

Thank sweet (deity of your choice) solid ground....

Ok, so you get the picture that it wasn't the cruise we thought we'd get, I was too nauseous to eat for most of the cruise, and we didn't make a single port of call BUT our weather was better than it could have been, we did manage to enjoy the shows, have some brief moments of fancy family dinner and have some fun.  There was plenty to do on this cruise and except for moments of sea sickness we managed to find something for everyone to do.  Having said that, I have no desire any time soon to take advantage of the 25% discount offered on a cruise in the next 12 months.... just saying.
